HELLO
我叫 SODA，是一隻迷路的浪龜，被路邊好心人送至動保中心，因著小樹哥堂妹的領養，而有機會入住小樹的家。
我是性情溫和的草食性動物，喜歡吃野菜及花朵，特別對於紅色或是黃色花毫無招架能力。但若沒有小樹哥或是小樹姐在一旁，請不要隨意拔草餵食我喔！
我酷愛日光浴，在陽光底下就會充飽電，活力充沛，食量大增。但一旦沒有陽光，天氣變冷，我就會躲藏起來，節省能量消耗。我現在住在小樹後院的葡萄棚底下，我的洞穴窩可是我自己挖的喔 ~
My name is SODA. I’m a lost tortoise who was once found by a kind passerby and taken to an animal shelter. Thanks to Treehouse family, I was adopted and became part of their family.
I’m a gentle herbivore. I enjoy eating wild greens and flowers—especially red and yellow ones, which I simply can’t resist. But if my master isn’t around, please don’t pick plants to feed me on your own!
I absolutely love sunbathing. Under the sunshine, I recharge with energy, become lively, energetic and my appetite grows. But when there’s no sun and the weather turns cold, I hide away to conserve energy. I now live beneath the grape trellis in the Treehouse backyard. Have you seen my burrow? Guess what? I dug it all by myself!

A:成龜可達60-90公分，重達90公斤，是世界第三大陸龜
They can grow up to 60–90 cm long and weigh as much as 90 kg. They are the third-largest tortoise in the world!
Q: 原本住在哪裡？Where are they originally from?
A: 原產於非洲撒哈拉沙漠及西非荒漠草原。
They are native to the Sahara Desert and the arid savannas of West Africa.
Q: 有甚麼特殊本領呢？Do they have any special abilities?
A: 蘇卡達，又名非洲盾臂龜，強而有力的雙臂，可以挖75-80公分深的地下隧道，甚至有深達3公尺的驚人記錄喔。
They are Sulcata tortoises, also known as African spurred tortoises. With their strong forelegs, they can dig tunnels 75–80 cm deep—some even reaching an amazing depth of 3 meters!
